Buyers write the same size differently by market. Here is every format we press, matched against the coverage a single tile gives, so quantities check out before an order is placed.
Not sure how many you need? Use the tiles calculator for a project-specific figure.
Porcelain is defined by water absorption, not appearance. Under ISO 13006, dry-pressed tiles absorbing 0.5% or less fall in Group BIa — the porcelain group. Ceramic wall tile typically absorbs 10% or more, which is why it is never used for heavy-traffic flooring.
The lower the absorption, the denser the fired body, and the better the tile resists staining, frost, and load. Our GVT and PGVT production sits in the BIa band — the same classification European manufacturers work to under EN 14411.
| Tile Type | Absorption | Typical Use |
|---|---|---|
| Porcelain (GVT/PGVT) — BIa | ≤ 0.5% | Floors & walls |
| Dense vitrified — BIb | 0.5–3% | Indoor floors |
| Vitrified — BIIa | 3–6% | Floors & walls |
| Ceramic wall — BIII | 10%+ | Wall only |
Production runs through body preparation, pressing, drying, digital glaze printing, kiln firing, and finishing — with dedicated polished lines for PGVT.
Grout is where a tiled floor ages first — it stains, holds dirt, and needs replacing long before the tile does. That is the practical reason large format keeps gaining share in commercial specification.
Moving from 600×1200 mm to 1200×1800 mm cuts the tile count for a 100 m² floor from 139 pieces to 47, and the grout run from about 250 metres to about 139 metres.
Containers load at Mundra, Kandla, and Nhava Sheva under FOB, CFR, and CIF terms, with Letter of Credit or TT payment, in 20 ft and 40 ft HQ full container loads.
Discharge at Umm Qasr and Basra, with inland movement to Baghdad, Erbil, and Sulaymaniyah. Dedicated supply pages cover each format.
A manufacturer. Tiles are pressed, digitally printed, fired, and finished at the company's own plant at Matel, Wankaner, in Morbi district, Gujarat. Export shipments go direct from the factory without a trading intermediary.
600 x 600 mm, 1000 x 1000 mm, 800 x 1600 mm, 1200 x 1200 mm, and 1200 x 1800 mm. In feet that is roughly 2 x 2, 3.3 x 3.3, 2.5 x 5, 4 x 4, and 4 x 6.
They overlap. "Vitrified" describes the dense fired body. "Porcelain" is the ISO 13006 classification for dry-pressed tile absorbing 0.5% or less, which is Group BIa. Rollence Granito's GVT and PGVT production falls in that group, so it is sold as porcelain in export markets.
ISO 9001:2015 (quality management) and ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management). Product testing follows the ISO 10545 series, and tiles are classified under ISO 13006.
Yes. Dedicated supply pages cover Iraq and Egypt, and other markets are served on enquiry. Containers load at Mundra, Kandla, or Nhava Sheva under FOB, CFR, or CIF terms.
Orders are quoted by container. A 20 ft or 40 ft HQ full container load gives the best per-square-metre rate. Exact quantity depends on size, thickness, and finish, so send the specification to export@rollence.in for a firm figure.
Polished and high-gloss surfaces. They are slippery when wet and are not suitable for terraces, pool surrounds, or external paving. Use a matte or textured finish and confirm a DIN 51130 slip rating of R10 or R11 for wet and external floors.
